1. Description:

      HAPNQ, with the full name of N,N-Dimethyl-N-[3-[N'-(4-methoxy naphthalimide)]]propyl-N-(2-hydroxy-3-allyloxy)propyl ammonium hydroxide, , is a new type of water treatment agent used to track and monitor the dosage of polymer in cooling tower in cooling water.

    As a fluorescent marker of water-soluble polymers, it can be co-polymerized with various water-soluble compounds such as acrylamide, acrylic acid and other unsaturated monomers to form fluorescent polymers. It is a preferred fluorescent monomer of thickener, flocculant, disincrustant and other water treatment agents.

• The fluorescent monomer is not significantly affected by other structures or other components in the polymer in the process of forming the tagged treatment polymer.
• The spectral property: the excitation and emission of the polymer are in the near-visible wavelength range (> 370 nm), thus permitting the use of solid-state instruments and possibly minimizing interference that usually occurs in the ultraviolet wavelength region.
