1. Description:
PTSA is a fluorescent probe and pH indicator. It fluoresces blue in acidic solutions and in acidic organelles but fluoresces green in more basic organelles. This compound is potentially useful as a coloring agent, biological stain, optical detecting reagent.

3. Working Principle:
Water treatment chemicals have been widely used in industrial water system, but how to control the concentration of water treating chemicals is always one technical problem. In the past, people usually adopt the method of artificial sampling detection of total phosphorus, to detect the concentration of the water treatment chemicals, but this method is time-consuming, control lag, which can cause the waste of water treatment chemicals and corrosion of the system.
In order to change that situation and work more efficiently, in today's society, we gradually implement fluorescent tracer technology in the water system to fulfill online testing and implementation of automatic dosing system and the concentration control.
Our company’s new product, 1,3,6,8-PYRENETETRASULFONIC ACID TETRASODIUM SALT, is an inert fluorescent tracer without loss in circulating water system. Based on certain proportion, it forms into fluorescent tracer agents with water treatment chemicals, supplying to Nalco, Kurita, etc.
